Appliansys is pleased to announce that Bell Bank Park has joined the growing number of US sports stadiums that have selected a DNSBOX for DHCP and DNS to support their public Wi-Fi.

The 320-acre world-class family sports and entertainment park serves as a venue for events, concerts and youth sports tournaments. At peak times, their Wi-Fi network will need to support thousands of users connecting simultaneously.

Bell Bank Park’s network management team chose DNSBOX as an easy-to-manage and reliable standalone server that would guarantee the availability of their core DNS and DHCP services.

“Fast Wi-Fi is now the norm at any event or entertainment venue” explains Dave Gravell, Business Development Director, “so sites need a rock-solid core network that can handle massive spikes in user numbers. To deal with these peaks, DHCP and DNS are two services that must stay on-premise for maximum speed and reliability.”

By choosing DNSBOX, Bell Bank Park now have the control and visibility they need on the ground, and the capacity keeps all their future visitors happy.
