Full speed ahead for Vtesse DNS
ApplianSys today announced that Vtesse, the UK based core networks provider, has purchased a DNSBOX400/200 solution to help it extend its service offering to its growing and demanding customer base.
Vtesse has been using a DNSBOX300/100 solution for 2 years. As a fast growing company, it constantly invests in infrastructure to allow it to offer more to its customers. With that in mind, it is upgrading to cater for expansion, including fully-featured DNSSEC and IPv6 capabilities. Vtesse sees these as differentiators and future-proofing its offerings. It has purchased a solution including a DNSBOX420 master, a failover master and 4 DNSBOX220 slaves, together with integration and consultancy services.
“DNSBOX has proven to be a robust and highly scalable solution for Vtesse. By upgrading its existing DNSBOX300/100 to DNSBOX400/200, Vtesse is moving from a DNS-only solution to an integrated DDI system for a fraction of the cost,” according to Magdalena Jovanovic, DNSBOX Sales Manager.
Founded in 2000, Vtesse Networks (www.vtesse.com) is a communications services provider that provides a range of solutions including optical networks, IPVPN and Ethernet data networking services. Its customers are typically medium and large enterprises, leading system integrators, carriers and cloud / data centre operators. These include some of the largest and most demanding private and public organisations in the world in sectors such as financial services and government, and some of the worlds most famous brands. In 2011 Vtesse became one of the first carriers in the UK to install the latest multiple-degree ROADM optical technology (Reconfigurable Optical Add Drop Multiplexers).
