ApplianSys today announced that Edicions Bromera has chosen CACHEBOX to restrict non-work related traffic and improve network performance.

“Reliable access to resources is critical to meeting publishing deadlines and delivering projects in a timely fashion,” says Cesar Reis, CACHEBOX Sales Executive. “However, the demands Bromera employees were making on their internet bandwidth was resulting in slow access for everyone.”

By caching frequently visited web pages locally CACHEBOX dramatically improves performance without the need to upgrade bandwidth.

“Thanks to CACHEBOX the team can now access popular web content incredibly quickly, and because it’s stored on the LAN, we’ve freed up a lot of bandwidth,” says Josep Gregori Soler, Network Manager at Bromera. “What’s more, with powerful access control features and detailed traffic logs we can keep an eye on abuse of this important resource.”

Edicions Bromera (http://www.bromera.com) is a publisher based in Alzira, Spain.  Founded in 1986 to create a Catalan–Valencian-Balear language project for the Valencian community, Bromeras catalogue includes over 1,000 titles in the Valencian language.
