Kokonet milks CACHEBOX

ApplianSys is pleased to announce that Seychelles-based ISP Kokonet has purchased a CACHEBOX210 to improve customer browsing experience and save bandwidth.

Kokonet provides internet services to over 2000 users via a 35Mbps VSAT connection. More than 75% of its traffic is HTTP, making web caching an ideal way to optimise bandwidth and improve its customers’ internet access speeds.

“CACHEBOX has a strong track record of helping island-based satellite ISPs around the world improve bandwidth utilisation, save money and add more users to scarce, expensive connections,” commented Roger Clark, Head of CACHEBOX Sales.

Formed in 2000, Kokonet is the only locally owned ISP serving the Seychelles.
