ApplianSys is delighted to share the news that it is collaborating with Intel to bring down barriers to connectivity and device access in rural and emerging regions around the world, in particular in schools.

In early 2023, Intel approached ApplianSys to explore how ApplianSys’s caching and remote management capabilities can complement its high-tech, low-footprint computer technology.

Equally importantly, both partners are sharing their experience and knowhow with respect to the customers we are trying to help – in particular National Education Authorities (NEAs) around the world.

ApplianSys and Intel engineers are working on integrating technologies to make it even easier for schools with limited internet access and local tech support to access high-quality, cost-effective and sustainable e-Learning – and easier for NEAs to deploy at scale across their nations.

ApplianSys CEO Mike Clark commented: “Intel values ApplianSys’s deep experience of working with NEAs over more than 2 decades, during which we have become deeply embedded in the global ‘Education ecosystem’. We understand in detail the complex challenges which ministries of education face in advancing the e-learning journey to transform their education outcomes, and have worked for many years to develop total package national solutions which overcome barriers to implementing technology investments in the classroom at scale.

“And we are excited not only by the reassurance that the Intel brand gives and its innovative game-changing technology, but also its active involvement in global education, helping to forge alliances with third sector partners and driving pilot projects around the world to accelerate deployment of solutions which will change lives.”
