Financial Times Interactive Data secured
ApplianSys Limited today announced Financial Times Interactive Data’s (FTID) decision to add dedicated DNSBOX100 slaves to their existing DNSBOX300 master. By complementing the DNSBOX300 with the new DNSBOX100 solution, FTID will be able to create a more robust network environment for their business.
“For better DNS management and security we advocate an orthodox DNS master-slave architecture”, comments Matt Robinson – Technical Support Manager at ApplianSys, “By securing their DNS master behind a firewall and letting the slaves serve user queries, FTID have gained a more rugged DNS architecture and reduced the exposure to malicious attack”.
