RWE puts energy into IPv6 with DNSBOX
ApplianSys today announced that RWE – the leading international utilities company, headquartered in Germany – has selected DNSBOX for deployment in a brand new data centre. Having first bought DNSBOX300 as far back as 2006, RWE has always appreciated how simple and reliable DNSBOX has proven to be. This is the first time it has deployed the high-end DNSBOX400 and 200 models, in a new deployment which sees a broader scope, including IPAM.
According to DNSBOX product manager Magdalena Jovanovic, a key driver of this project was preparing for IPv6. “RWE plan to evaluate IPv6 for all of their internet infrastructure components. It was important to them that their new DNS solution is fully IPv6 ready.”
