DNSBOX boosts King Saud DDI health
ApplianSys is pleased to announce that the King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) has chosen DNSBOX to improve DNS security and integrate DDI services at its campus headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
KSAU-HS wanted to replace its Windows DNS with a more secure, more reliable failover solution that would guarantee service uptime for its 8,000 users.
DDI services were fragmented – including a time-consuming, error-prone spreadsheet for IPAM and a DHCP appliance from InfoBlox. So the university’s reseller, Specialty Experts Company (SEITCS), suggested they could integrate everything with an ApplianSys solution: a single integrated system, more reliable and secure, with fully-trained support, available locally.
DNSBOX met KSAU-HS’s need for rock-solid authoritative and recursive DNS, but would also provide full network visibility, as well as easier, simpler management of its core IP services.
Once set up with a Virtual Machine for testing, Head of IT Operations Haitham Daakik was impressed to see DDI services automatically synchronised and viewable in real-time from a single intuitive interface.
“By providing a single DDI solution to replace multiple different systems, DNSBOX makes managing KSAU-HS’s complex IP address spaces much easier, faster, and less error-prone,” says DNSBOX Product Manager Magdalena Jovanovic. “And with an expert Appliansys partner on the ground in Riyadh, Haitham can be confident of getting the support he needs.”
