Congo internet flows faster
ApplianSys announced today that ITM, a start up wireless internet service provider in Kinshasa, Congo has bought a CACHEBOX solution to provide better service to its growing customer base.
ITM provides internet connectivity to 150 customers with a 20Mbps connection and has approximately 400 computers on its network. It sought a caching solution for problems in connectivity faced by its customers because of accessing bandwidth intensive content such as Facebook and YouTube. It decided CACHEBOX210 offers a cost effective solution both now and for future scaling to accommodate growth in its business.
Business Development Director Dave Gravell explains, “Many fast growing ISPs like ITM can optimise their networking services cost effectively with CACHEBOX. As their networks expand, they can easily upgrade their infrastructure to suit future requirements with the wide range of scalability that CACHEBOX products have to offer.”
