ApplianSys today announced that telecommunications provider Remsat has chosen CACHEBOX to reduce bandwidth use at remote sites across Alberta, Canada.
Remsat provide internet and telephone services via satellite and fibre to lodges supporting anything from 50 to 1,500 clients. The connections are mainly used for Wi-Fi access and mostly carry port 80 traffic. Remsat are keen to keep save on bandwidth and also offer better performance to users.
