Less admin time for Creolink
ApplianSys today announced Creolink, a fast growing ISP in Cameroon, has chosen DNSBOX to provide reliable core network services to its customers. Creolink had been using BIND on standard Linux servers but needed something that didn’t take up so much of the systems administrators’ time to manage.
Having looked a number of appliance based options, Creolink were won over by the ApplianSys approach to DNS and DHCP management. As well as drastically reducing administration time, the DNSBOX architecture lets Creolink deliver a more secure and reliable service to it’s customers than a generic server-based implementation.
“Like many rapidly growing companies there’s a lot of pressure on everyone, but for a technology company that’s especially true of the IT guys,” says Mike Clark, CEO of ApplianSys. “By making DNS, DHCP and IPAM easier to manage we’re giving IT managers the one thing they’re always short of…time.”
“From an ApplianSys perspective, we’re just delighted that our customer-base in Africa, and particularly among ISPs, is expanding so fast. We have been working hard to offer services and products which meet the needs of customers in developing economies and deliver outstanding value. Every new customer makes us proud that this hard work is paying off,” adds Clark.
CreoLink (www.creolink.com) provides a variety of Home and Business Networking services to its customers in Cameroon. Creolink has offices in Douala and Yaounde, Cameroon.
