DNSBOX scales Belgian heights
ApplianSys announced today that Cegeka, a leading ICT supplier in Benelux, has purchased DNSBOX400/200 for an integrated DNS, DHCP and IPAM solution.
In 2006 Cegeka took a holding in DataBalk, an automation company active in the housing corporation sector. In doing so, it inherited a DNSBOX310 master and two DNSBOX110 slaves recently purchased by DataBalk. With the DNSBOX platform in place, Cegeka was able to offer secure DNS services to its large base of business customers, which required minimal effort to maintain over the years.
As its network requirements grew, Cegeka needed a solution for IP address management and decided that, as its DNSBOXes were due for a hardware refresh, it would upgrade to DNSBOX400/200.
“DNSBOX400/200 is a full, integrated DDI solution designed for more complex tasks, including planning and implementing IP address usage. For Cegeka, who already had DNSBOX in place, upgrading their appliances and expanding the scope of their current system was simple and inexpensive” commented Ross Horn, Sales Executive at ApplianSys.
Headquartered in Belgium, Cegeka (www.cegeka.be) provides ICT solutions in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Cegeka develops, implements and manages IT applications and infrastructures for medium-sized and large business organisations. With 1650 employees and data centres in Hasselt (BE), Leuven (BE) and Veenendaal (NL), Cegeka has an annual turnover of 198 million euro.
