ApplianSys shares Gold with Intel at EWF 2024
ApplianSys is pleased to announce that it will once again be attending the Education World Forum (EWF) in London, on 19th – 22nd May 2024, this time as a gold-level sponsor with Connected Education Kit collaborators Intel.
The EWF is a four-day gathering of the world’s education policy makers, high-level government officials and education-industry experts, this time marking its 20th anniversary. ApplianSys is one of a small group of commercial partners invited to join attendees from national Ministries of Education at the forum each year.
“Digital transformation is a strategic issue of national importance,” explains Mike Clark, ApplianSys CEO. “For 25 years, ApplianSys has worked with national education authorities to fix the Connectivity Problem. We bring one piece of the pillars that ministries need to assemble, to succeed with transforming national education outcomes via connected classrooms.
“This year, we are delighted to present – in addition – a further piece. Intel asked us to help them combine their innovative technology with ours.
“You can now provision your nation’s schools with full-spec PCs – which will enable curriculum for advanced digital skills in your PC labs now – at a fraction of the cost. This is a strategic breakthrough, allowing national roll-outs on existing budgets to proceed much faster.”
The theme of this year’s conference asks: “How should we prioritise policy and implementation for Stronger, Bolder, Better, Education?” ApplianSys has been advocating practical solutions for bridging the digital divide for many years. Now, as lead partners alongside Intel and others in N50, we’ve teamed up with NGOs and philanthropic organizations who share the same vision as the Education World Forum community to enable rapid decision-making on large-pilot rollouts.
Our team is looking forward to continuing the conversation with national education customers and colleagues from around the world, so we can achieve real momentum now for today’s students, not just tomorrow’s.
